WWE WrestleMania 36 Lock Bet
Last week WWE decided that WrestleMania 36 will take place on April 4 and April 5 at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, with no audience.
The event was originally scheduled to be at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay on April 5 but the decision to change the venue was made due to coronavirus concerns. Former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will host WrestleMania 36 and it will start at 7:00 PM ET on both nights. We look at the card and share a bet.

Saturday, April 4
WWE Championship Match: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Drew McIntyre
NXT Women’s Championship Match: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair
The Undertaker vs. AJ Styles
Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins
Sunday, April 5
WWE Universal Championship Match: Goldberg (c) vs. Roman Reigns
RAW Women’s Championship Match: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Shayna Baszler
John Cena vs. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt
SmackDown Women’s Championship Match: Bayley (c) vs. Lacey Evans vs. Tamina vs. Naomi vs. Sasha Banks (to be determined if it will take place on April 4 or on April 5).
Edge vs. Randy Orton (Last Man Standing Match) (to be determined if it will take place on April 4 or on April 5).
Drew McIntyre Will Win the WWE Championship
WWE finally gave Drew McIntyre a decent push. He eliminated Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble before winning the match to earn this title match and he has been dominating his opponents in recent matches on Raw and he looked good in his in-ring confrontations with Lesnar.
McIntyre has it all, he is a credible contender with the look, mic-skills and in-ring work of a star. He deserves to be at the top of the card and beat Lesnar to become the first British wrestler to win the WWE Championship.
The 34-year-old can match up to Brock Lesnar physically, which not many can do. This should be a hard-hitting clash between two very tough superstars. Sadly it will be with no audience but McIntyre will feel the love of his fans and fellow wrestlers once he wins.
At -350 this is a lot of chalk so I will not bet the farm, I will make a small bet. It is hard to see WWE letting Lesnar retain. The only reason why it could happen is that they will let McIntyre win the WWE Championship at SummerSlam, in front of a crowd. But there’s no guarantee that we will be back to normal by August.
Wrestling fans deserve to see McIntyre finally win the big one after all he’s been through in his long career, it would put smiles on our faces and that’s what WrestleMania should be about.
